The first Best Buy shop opened under the name Sound of Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1966. Products must have been purchased prior to 26 November 2011 in order to be returned, but faulty products can still be exchanged within 30 days of their original date of purchase. Trade in services are no longer offered at Best Buy.
