easyJet holidays Voucher Codes October 2021
Popular low-cost airline easyJet has been a huge player in European air travel since 1995, offering point-to-point flights to major airports in Europe. It has partnered with Hotelopia to offer easyJet Holidays, often with discount codes, to include hotels at any and all of the airline's destinations. In effect, package holidays.
easyJet previously collaborated with Hotelopia (of First Choice Holidays) in 2004, which offered easyJet Hotels booking. Those booking flights with easyJet through their website were then able to book hotels, or indeed separately on the site. easyJet Holidays came to fruition three years later in 2007.
The airline then partnered with Low Cost Travel Group flights and accommodation followed by discount voucher easyJet holidays and city breaks on all routings in 2011. Competitor Ryanair has also started to target holidaymakers, although they offer a smaller network and fly to minor airports.
Greek-Cypriot Stelios Haji-Ioannou launched easyJet in 1995 with two routes London (Luton) to Edinburgh and Glasgow. It grew fast and today has bases Europe-wide operating around 500 routes in Europe, North Africa and some Asian destinations. easyJet carries more passengers than BA, or any other airline in the UK, to the tune of over 42 million flyers.
Gatwick Airport in London is the main base, where most discount vouchers with easyJet Holidays can be had, followed by Milan's Malpensa Airport and Luton, Stansted and Bristol airports. easyJet mostly serves primary airports.
