Viking, an online retailer of office supplies and equipment, started out in 1960. The company is now part of Office Depot, which is among the largest stationary and office suppliers in the world.
It has a presence in more than 16 countries, retailing items including stationary, printing equipment and furniture such as desks and office chairs. Discount vouchers on these Viking items include reductions of up to 10 per cent.
Viking's product range includes a diverse list of items found in the office, from bumper boxes of tea bags to postage stamps and printing paper. It also has a separate school shop, a book shop, a section selling products from Apple and a clearance shop, all of which are online. Selected discount codes offer free home delivery on Viking items.
Some of Viking's services are even more diverse. It hires out meeting rooms and sells experience days such as tea at Harrods department store in London, and passes to health retreats, among other unique packages. Sometimes there is a discount voucher redeemable against these Viking services.
The company is UK based, with its headquarters in Leicester and a further two premises in Kent and Manchester. It employs more than 1,300 people in the UK.
