"This dispute is looking more and more like an ego trip by Mr.Walsh. I can see the reasons why so many BA employees want to maintain their conditions but cannot see how throwing so much money away on a charade of coping without the workforce will benefit BA or justify building a reputation as a hard man for a single employee, Willie Walsh. As for substituting strikers with admin. staff, who is doing their work? or were they always surplus to requirement?
