"Well with minimum prices spoken of 40 or 50 pence per unit will not curb anything. This is still cheap. In such economic turmoil these plans if sanctioned will put many pubs and clubs out of business which in all fairness is being held up by students in britain, students do not have a plentiful source of income and taking this very fragile market away, and could see british nightlife and a part of our culture slump and die out.. albeit a huge healthrisk, the majority of drinkers will be hit hardest and will encourage people to drink more excessivley at home in 'pre-drinks'which is now a rather large trend.
