No rivalry between Strictly and X Factor judges

Strictly’s new host Alesha Dixon has quashed rumours of a rift between herself and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole as petty.
In spite of losing the ratings against The X Factor, the new Strictly Come Dancing judge does not have a bad word to say about the Girls Aloud singer.
Alesha said that Cole carries herself with such class, and that they are both friends.
She went on to say that if she had wanted to ring her up to see how she was, or that if she loved her video, she could.
Dixon also said that being a mature professional, she didn’t get caught up with all the pettiness.
Dixon, 30 years-old, has remained level-headed under strong pressure to axe her from the show and claims that she isn’t qualified to re-place Arlene Phillips on the judging panel.
Alesha has hit back at those claims by saying that she would not have accepted the job if she didn’t think that she could do it.
The public backlash has not appeared to have made a dent in Alesha’s confidence, she has said that if she didn’t believe in herself, then no one would ever believe in her.
She concluded by saying that she knows she can succeed.
