Pamela Anderson poses for Nokia
by Katie Naylor
Pamela Anderson, the former star of hit TV-show Baywatch, has offered her services in a photo-shoot for mobile phone company Nokia. Ms Anderson, 43, is dressed in several revealingly skimpy outfits while lying on a hotel bed for the pictures, which will be used in conjunction with a Nokia competition and the release of the firm’s new N8 handset. The photographs were published after an announcement that the actress will be filming a bedroom scene in an upcoming short film, The Commuter, with the co-star to be chosen through the Nokia competition. The short film will see its debut in London, with the lucky winners of the competition to be in attendance.
According to John Nichols, marketing head at Nokia UK, his firm wanted to create something unique which showcases the incredible picture-taking power of the new Nokia N8. He went on to say that the pictures of Pamela Anderson with the N8 show the high quality and versatility of the mobile phone’s built-in camera.
Although Ms Anderson is scheduled to appear in the short film, she said that she wants to avoid television and the big screen for the immediate future. She went on to add that she has two homes in Malibu, is building one in Canada, and wants to focus on those aspects of her life.
