Ashley Cole asks Cheryl to delay separation
by Natasha Redman
Reports have emerged that claim that Ashley Cole has asked his wife Cheryl to delay their separation plans until after the World Cup.
The star English player, in which details of a string of affairs has come to light, made the astonishing request at the weekend, causing his popstar partner, 26, to explode with anger.
Cole put forward the heartless suggestion to postpone any dealings of their separation until July, when he would come back from the tournament in South Africa.
It has been reported that his X Factor missus said no to the proposal.
One source close to Cheryl said that she hit the roof, and flew right off the handle and he knew that he said the wrong thing once again.
A source said: “Cheryl hit the roof. She flew off the handle and he knew instantly he’d said the wrong thing once again.”
The source went on to say that the Chelsea defender, 29, had made the selfish suggestion before via text.
Cole, who flew back on Friday after three weeks recovering at an injury clinic in France, was ordered to pack his bags and leave by the furious Girls Aloud starlet.
He is said to be staying at a London and was seen yesterday driving his Bentley.
He suffered a broken leg while playing against Everton in February.
