New weight loss pill hits the UK
by Katie Naylor
A new fat burning pill that is claimed to help women drop a dress size in just three weeks has been launched in the UK.
The £1 per day drug has already become a sensation in America, and is expected to be readily available here within a few months.
The drug works by tricking the body’s metabolism into staying active while speeding up its ability to break down the bad saturated fat stored in the body, and reduces the desire to eat by making the brain believe that the stomach is already full.
One other advantage is that it did not cause the often-unpleasant side effects experienced from some other pills.
Experts believe that it could have a potentially beneficial impact.
Research has shown that the product, Vita-Lean, may even inhibit the production of body fat by boosting the key-anti-obesity genes and enzymes, while studies who found that those who took the main extract irvingia for 10 weeks, lost an average of two stone.
Losing nine pounds would take just three weeks and two days and would be the equivalent to a dress size.
The drug, which is available without prescription, would need official approval before being made available on the National Health Service, but it seems that it will be set to go on sale nationally following talks between the distributor and leading supermarket chains.
