With Christmas rapidly approaching itâs the time of year when we are encouraged to take long weekend breaks, be it in this country or abroad. And one place which Iâd have to recommend would be the Belgian city of Bruges, for the Christmas market there.
Doesn’t it all look Christmasy!

"I was just having a look at pictures of Christmas Markets in Bruges and they look amazing. Gets a bit difficult to decide on which one to go though with so many of these markets in Europe. If I am lucky enough, I might be going to the one in Prague & probably a couple of them in the UK.

In a country where a Big Mac meal costs ÂŁ6 and a pint costs ÂŁ6, this means taking a hit on the quality. And lets face it: when you canât afford a McDonalds, the Earl of Sandwichâs classic idea to put a âpiece of meat between two slices of breadâ sounds like something Heston Blumenthal would serve on his taster menu. Kite Flying vs. Nintendo DS – Which is Better for a Holiday?
by David Davies
âIn 559 AD, when Emperor Wenxuan of the Northern Qi Dynasty was in power, he ordered the indiscriminate killing of the clan surnamed âYuanâ as a purge. Yuan Shao, a grandson of Yuan Xie (the Duke of Pengcheng), was put into a dungeon. His brother made a kite for him. Then the two brothers fled [...]

"[...] Gareth Crew on November 5, 2009 So, which one is better? Find out here on our DiscountVouchers blog I like kites, and I like the Nintendo DS. I wonder what would be perfect? A kite flying game on the [...]
